Erica (Tester) Bent - Shortly after grad, I moved to Toronto and lived there for 7 years.  I got married, worked in some run-of-the-mill office jobs, and did the usual every-day things. We moved to PEI (where my husband was from) and  it was major culture shock going from Toronto to Murray Harbour (population less then 500).

During the 20 years I lived there, I did a variety of jobs in Tourism, Dept of Fisheries, the daily newspaper (I was a regular Lois Lane!).  Living there was great - the winters leave something to be desired but we were sometimes able to avoid them by going to Florida.

My husband died in 1992 and I relocated to beautiful Vancouver.  Didn't really want to go to work so I decided to go to school - Capilano College - and took their Tourism program.  Worked for a travel company for a few years designing their brochures, doing their web site, organizing group tours.  The one advantage of working for a travel company is the opportunity to travel (surprise!).  Went on a couple of great cruises, had a super trip to France, plus a few places closer to home.

I am still in Vancouver (North Vancouver, actually) with Keith, my husband of 6 years.  We work together from home doing accounting (I knew I should have paid more attention to Mrs. Duff) and are kept quite busy.  I have 2 grown sons and 3 grandchildren (by the way, pictures are on my web site), all of whom are in PEI.  This gives me a great excuse to travel back there.

I have always enjoyed doing crafts as a hobby plus fooling with the computer.  I have a great time doing the CHS web site - definitely a work in progress.  I have stayed in touch with several school friends since our 25th reunion and with e-mail, it is so much easier!  It has been great finding people and contacting them after all these years.
